Acceptance

By installing or using the Pink Sage iOS app (“Pink Sage”, “the app”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.

Pink Sage is published by Danielius Studio LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company at 30 N Gould St, Suite #5280, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA (“we”, “us”).

What Pink Sage is

Pink Sage is a personal reflection app for iPhone. You open Apple's system Journaling Suggestions picker, pick a single suggestion the system surfaces from your own activity (a completed workout, a recent photo, a place you visited, a contact you called, a song you played), and add one line of reflection. Pink Sage weaves a short two-to-three line card on-device with Apple's Foundation Models (the same Apple Intelligence layer built into iOS). The card becomes a dated entry you can revisit, plus a year archive and a Lock Screen widget when you unlock Pro.

Pink Sage is not a journaling service with cloud sync, a social posting tool, or a replacement for Apple's built-in Journal app. It does not modify any data in Health, Photos, Calendar, or Contacts. Entries are personal artifacts kept locally on your device.

The Journaling Suggestions picker requires iOS 17.2 or later. Card generation requires iOS 26 or later on an Apple Intelligence-capable iPhone (iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16, or newer with the A17 Pro chip or later). On unsupported devices, the suggestion plus your line still save as an entry, but the card-weaving step is unavailable.

The app makes no network calls except to Apple's StoreKit for in-app purchases. The language model runs entirely on-device. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Journaling Suggestions permission and what we do with it

Pink Sage uses Apple's system JournalingSuggestionsPicker. The picker is owned and controlled by Apple. The app never sees your full Health data, full Photos library, full Calendar, full Contacts, or full location history. Pink Sage only ever receives the single suggestion you explicitly pick from the picker, and the one-line reflection you type. The two-to-three line card is written by the on-device language model from that suggestion and your line.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Pink Sage on iOS devices you own or control, subject to Apple's standard App Store Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “EULA”) which is incorporated by reference: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Where these Terms and the Apple EULA conflict, the Apple EULA controls.

Free window and subscriptions

When you first install Pink Sage, every feature is unlocked for three days with no payment and no account. This is a no-strings free window, not a trial signup.

After the three-day window, you may continue using the app for free with up to three sage entries lifetime, OR accept a one-time gift screen offering two weeks free of the Monthly subscription ($4/month after the two weeks). You may also purchase Annual ($25/year) or Lifetime ($59 one-time) at any time from the Settings screen. Pro unlocks unlimited entries, the year archive, and the Lock Screen widget.

All payments are processed through Apple's StoreKit and are subject to Apple's standard subscription terms, including auto-renewal. You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time in the iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions screen.

The Lifetime tier is a one-time non-consumable purchase. It remains active for as long as Apple keeps Pink Sage available on the App Store under your Apple ID.

Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse engineer, modify, redistribute, or create derivative works of Pink Sage, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law. You are responsible for the suggestions you pick and the reflections you type; the app provides no sharing or publishing surface, and entries are kept locally for your own personal reflection.

Not therapy, not medical advice

Pink Sage is a personal reflection and creative-writing tool. The two-to-three line cards are generated by an on-device language model from a suggestion and a single line you type, and are not therapy, diagnosis, or medical advice. The app does not interpret the meaning of your activity or claim to address mental-health conditions.

Disclaimers

Pink Sage is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Danielius Studio LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.

Apple as third-party beneficiary

You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Danielius Studio LLC, not Apple, and that Apple is not responsible for Pink Sage or its contents. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming, except where Apple's EULA requires otherwise.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of Pink Sage after a change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
