Privacy Policy
Short version
Pink Span captures one second of video each day. Every clip stays on your device. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no third-party SDKs that contact a server, and no upload path. The only network calls the app makes are to Google Play billing when you choose to subscribe or unlock the Lifetime tier.
Who we are
Pink Span is published by Danielius Studio LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company at 30 N Gould St, Suite #5280, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA (“we”, “us”).
Camera and microphone permissions
Pink Span asks for the Camera permission so that you can record 1-second clips, and for the Microphone permission so each clip keeps its sound. Android asks the first time you open the camera screen. The camera shows a live picture while that screen is open and records only for the one second after you tap record; the microphone is used only during that second. The app never uses either one in the background. You can deny the Microphone, and clips save without sound. You can change either permission at any time in Android Settings > Apps > Pink Span > Permissions.
Captured clips are saved in the app's private storage on your phone. They are not automatically added to your gallery; you choose when to share the film.
Data we do NOT collect
- No account, no email, no password: the app has no signup.
- No analytics, no telemetry, no event tracking.
- No advertising identifiers (no advertising ID, no fingerprinting).
- No usage data sent off the device.
- No uploading of clips, ever. There is no server we operate.
- No location, no contacts, no calendar. Beyond the Camera and the Microphone, the only permission the app can ask for is to show notifications, and only when you accept the tips offer.
What stays on your device
- Your 1-second video clips (one per day). Each day is listed in a private database on your phone, and its video is a file in the app's private storage.
- The date the app was first launched (used to time the three-day no-strings free window). Stored in the app's own preferences on your phone.
- Whether you have Pro, so the app opens unlocked before the Google Play answers.
- If you allow notifications, the time of day you usually open the app, so a few tips and reminders arrive at a good moment in your first week. They are scheduled on your device and nothing is sent to us.
All of the above lives on your device and never leaves it. Uninstalling the app deletes it.
Stitched year film and exports
When you share the year film, Pink Span joins your clips into a single MP4 file entirely on your phone, using Android's own media tools. The film then opens in the Android share sheet, where you choose where it goes, for example saving it to your gallery. Nothing is shared unless you choose it.
In-app purchases
If you choose to subscribe (Monthly, Annual) or buy the Lifetime unlock, that transaction is handled by Google Play billing. Google Play processes the payment and shares only the purchase status with the app so we can verify your entitlement. We never see your card number, billing address, or any personal information beyond Google's opaque transaction identifier.
Your purchases are recorded by Google Play on your Google account. When you re-open the app it asks Google Play for your purchase status and keeps the answer on your device. That answer is not sent to any server we operate.
Deleting your data
Your data lives only on your phone. Delete your clips inside the app, or remove the app, or clear its storage in Android settings under Apps > Pink Span > Storage, to delete everything. We hold no copy, so there is nothing to request from us.
Children
The app collects no data from anyone, including children under 13.
Your rights
Because Pink Span does not collect data, there is nothing for us to export, correct, or delete on your behalf. To revoke all access and remove all on-device state, simply delete the app.

Changes
If we ever introduce a feature that involves any data leaving the device (for example, cloud sync or social sharing through our infrastructure), this page will be updated and the “Last updated” date at the top will change. For v1.0, no such feature exists.
