Acceptance

By installing or using the Pink Tread iOS app (“Pink Tread”, “the app”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.

Pink Tread is published by Danielius Studio LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company at 30 N Gould St, Suite #5280, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA (“we”, “us”).

What Pink Tread is

Pink Tread is a personal daily-route app for iPhone. Once a day, you type an origin and a destination. Apple's MapKit search completer suggests matching places, MKDirections returns a route polyline with the distance and transport type, and the trace becomes a dated entry. Entries can be revisited in a year-map view tracing all 365 routes and shown on a Lock Screen widget when you unlock Pro.

Pink Tread is not a turn-by-turn navigator, a fitness tracker, an activity logger, or a substitute for the Maps app. It does not record where you are, does not observe whether you actually walked the route, and does not claim to provide accurate live-navigation guidance.

The app makes no network calls except to Apple's StoreKit for in-app purchases and to Apple's MapKit servers for the place names and route geometry you explicitly request. Pink Tread does NOT request location permission and does not read your GPS position. See the Privacy Policy for details.

MapKit and what we do with it

Text you type into the origin or destination field is sent to MKLocalSearchCompleter so Apple can return matching place suggestions. The chosen origin and destination are then sent to MKDirections for the route polyline. These are standard MapKit calls handled by Apple's map infrastructure under Apple's Maps Services privacy policy. Pink Tread does not have a server, does not call any third-party map provider, and does not combine your search text with any identifier on our side.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Pink Tread on iOS devices you own or control, subject to Apple's standard App Store Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “EULA”) which is incorporated by reference: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Where these Terms and the Apple EULA conflict, the Apple EULA controls.

Free window and subscriptions

When you first install Pink Tread, every feature is unlocked for three days with no payment and no account. This is a no-strings free window, not a trial signup.

After the three-day window, you may continue using the app for free with up to three tread entries lifetime, OR accept a one-time gift screen offering two weeks free of the Monthly subscription ($4/month after the two weeks). You may also purchase Annual ($25/year) or Lifetime ($59 one-time) at any time from the Settings screen. Pro unlocks unlimited treads, the year-map view of all 365 routes, and the Lock Screen widget.

All payments are processed through Apple's StoreKit and are subject to Apple's standard subscription terms, including auto-renewal. You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time in the iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions screen.

The Lifetime tier is a one-time non-consumable purchase. It remains active for as long as Apple keeps Pink Tread available on the App Store under your Apple ID.

Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse engineer, modify, redistribute, or create derivative works of Pink Tread, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law. You are responsible for the places you type, and for following local rules of the road if you choose to actually walk, bike, or drive any route the app traces; the app provides no live navigation and routes are kept locally for your own personal reflection.

Not navigation guidance, not medical advice

Pink Tread is a personal-record and creative-route tool. Route polylines come from MapKit and are approximations intended for reflection, not turn-by-turn directions. The app does not warn you about hazards, road closures, traffic, weather, or terrain difficulty, and is not therapy, diagnosis, or medical advice.

Disclaimers

Pink Tread is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Danielius Studio LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.

Apple as third-party beneficiary

You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Danielius Studio LLC, not Apple, and that Apple is not responsible for Pink Tread or its contents. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming, except where Apple's EULA requires otherwise.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of Pink Tread after a change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
