Pink Tread
A daily route, traced. A year of routes, stacked on one map. On-device. Private.
Open Pink Tread, pick a start and a destination, choose how you travel, and tap Trace route. Apple Maps draws the polyline and you save it as today's tread. The Year map view stacks every saved tread onto a single map, so a year of your getting around becomes one keepable artifact. Everything stays on your device.
What you can do in v1.0
- Save today's tread: pick a start, a destination, a transport type (walk, drive, transit, bike), and Apple Maps traces the route between them.
- Use your current location as the start with one tap, or pick any address from Apple Maps suggestions.
- Try a sample route from the composer when you just want to see the app in action without picking anything.
- See every saved tread on the home list, each with a small map preview, distance, and transport icon.
- Open any tread for a full-screen map view with distance, travel time, origin, destination, and your optional note.
- Open the Year map to see every saved tread's polyline traced on a single map. The artifact that builds across the year.
- Add a Lock Screen widget so the day's tread sits on the glass.
What stays on your device
- No accounts, no email, no signup.
- No analytics, no third-party SDKs, no ad networks.
- Treads, notes, and your year map never leave your device.
- Map search and routing use Apple Maps (MapKit) under the standard iOS privacy boundary.
- The only network call is to Apple's StoreKit when you choose to subscribe.
Pricing
Three free treads on install, no time limit. After that, choose Pro Monthly (with a 14-day free intro), Pro Annual, or a one-time Lifetime unlock for unlimited treads, year map export, and the Lock Screen widget. All purchases are handled by Apple and managed under your Apple ID.

To restore a purchase on a new device, open Pink Tread, tap the settings icon, open the paywall, and tap Restore Purchases. Apple will re-verify your Apple ID's entitlements.
To cancel an auto-renewing subscription, open the Settings app on iPhone, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions, then Pink Tread Pro.
