Privacy Policy

Short version

Pink Strip turns three short lines about your day into a single hand-drawn-style comic panel. Both the three lines and the generated PNG are stored on your device. The image is generated by Apple's Image Playground (the system-level generation surface built into iOS with Apple Intelligence). When Apple Intelligence makes an image, Apple may process your prompt on its Private Cloud Compute servers; Apple says these requests are not stored. Pink Strip itself has no accounts, no analytics, no servers, and no third-party SDKs. The only network calls the app makes are to Apple's StoreKit when you choose to subscribe or unlock the Lifetime tier.

Who we are

Pink Strip is published by Danielius Studio LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company at 30 N Gould St, Suite #5280, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA (“we”, “us”).

Data we do NOT collect

• No account, no email, no password — the app has no signup.
• No analytics, no telemetry, no event tracking.
• No advertising identifiers (no IDFA, no fingerprinting).
• No usage data sent off the device.
• No microphone access.
• No camera or camera roll access.
• No contacts, no location, no calendar.
• No HealthKit, no Health data.

Permissions the app requests

None. Pink Strip does not request any iOS permission. The comic generation surface is Apple's system-level Image Playground sheet, which the system manages directly without prompting the app for permission scopes.

What stays on your device

• Your panel entries: the three short lines you wrote, the generated PNG (stored as external SwiftData blob storage), and the creation date. Saved in on-device SwiftData.
• The date the app was first launched (used to time the three-day no-strings free window). Stored in UserDefaults.
• If you allow reminders, the time of day you usually open the app, so a few tips and reminders arrive at a good moment in your first week. They are scheduled on your device and nothing is sent to us.

All of the above lives on your device. Uninstalling the app deletes it.

About Apple Image Playground (Apple Intelligence)

Pink Strip uses Apple's Image Playground, the system-level image generation surface that is part of Apple Intelligence. The three lines you write are passed to the Image Playground sheet; the system makes the panel and hands it back to the app as a PNG. Apple may make it on its Private Cloud Compute servers, as described above.

Pink Strip does not call any third-party AI provider or cloud image-generation service. There is no proprietary cloud rendering layer. All generation is Apple's.

Device requirement

Pink Strip requires iOS 26 or later. Drawing panels needs an Apple Intelligence-capable device (iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16, or newer, iPad with M1 or later, or iPad mini with A17 Pro). On other devices, the app says so and your three lines still save as panels.

Free window and Pro

When you first install Pink Strip, every feature is unlocked for three days with no payment and no account. After that, the free tier lets you keep up to three panels. Pro unlocks unlimited panels. None of this changes what data is collected: the answer is still nothing.

In-app purchases

If you choose to subscribe (Monthly, Annual) or buy the Lifetime unlock, that transaction is handled by Apple's StoreKit. Apple processes the payment and shares only the receipt with the app so we can verify your entitlement. We never see your card number, billing address, or any personal information beyond Apple's opaque transaction identifier.

Subscription receipts are stored on-device by iOS and used to validate your entitlement when you re-open the app. They are not sent to any server we operate.

Family Sharing

Pink Strip Pro purchases (Monthly, Annual, Lifetime) are Family-Shareable through Apple's standard Family Sharing mechanism. Apple handles eligibility checks; we do not see who is in your family group.

Children

Pink Strip is rated 4+ in the App Store. Because the app collects no data at all, it complies with COPPA and similar children's-privacy regulations by design.

Your rights

Because Pink Strip does not collect data, there is nothing for us to export, correct, or delete on your behalf. To revoke all access and remove all on-device state, simply delete the app.

Changes

If we ever introduce a feature that involves any data leaving the device (for example, cloud sync or shared panel galleries), this page will be updated and the “Last updated” date at the top will change. For v1.0, no such feature exists.
