Pink Strip
Your year as a comic strip. On-device.
Open Pink Strip once a day. Write three short lines: what set the day up, what happened, how it ended. Apple's Image Playground draws a comic panel from those lines, right on your iPhone. By December, your daily panels stack into a scrollable 365-panel comic of the whole year. No prompts to invent. No accounts. No cloud.
How it works
- Open Pink Strip. The composer shows three short text fields with a soft prompt for each: setup, middle, ending.
- Type a sentence into each. The whole entry is rarely more than fifteen seconds of writing.
- Tap Generate. Apple Intelligence runs Image Playground on-device and draws a comic panel from your three lines.
- Pin the Lock Screen or Home Screen widget to see today's panel at a glance.
- Scroll back any day to read your year as a comic strip in progress. By the last day of the year, you have all 365 panels.
What stays on your device
- No accounts, no email, no signup.
- No analytics, no third-party SDKs.
- The comic panels are drawn on your iPhone by Apple's Image Playground. No image or text is sent to a server.
- Entries and panels are stored on-device with SwiftData. Nothing leaves your phone.
- The only network calls Pink Strip makes are to Apple's StoreKit when you choose to subscribe or buy Lifetime.
Device requirement
Pink Strip generates panels with Apple's on-device Image Playground, which is part of Apple Intelligence. That means the app needs an iPhone or iPad that supports Apple Intelligence, with Apple Intelligence turned on in Settings. Without it, the composer still saves your three lines but no panel is drawn.
