Acceptance

By installing or using the Pink Rune iOS app (“Pink Rune”, “the app”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.

Pink Rune is published by Danielius Studio LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company at 30 N Gould St, Suite #5280, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA (“we”, “us”).

What Pink Rune is

Pink Rune is a personal rectangle-spotting app for iPhone. You pick one photo from your Photos library; Pink Rune runs Apple's on-device Vision framework over it to detect quadrilaterals (doors, windows, signs, paintings, posters, screens) and renders an overlay drawing each detected rectangle on a downscaled thumbnail. The result becomes a dated entry showing the detection count and an optional note.

Pink Rune is not a document scanner, a measurement tool, a CAD utility, or a substitute for the Camera app. Detection accuracy depends on lighting, angle, contrast, and the assumptions of Apple's rectangle detector. Rune entries are personal artifacts kept locally on your device.

The app makes no network calls except to Apple's StoreKit for in-app purchases. The Vision framework runs entirely on-device. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Photos permission and what we do with it

Pink Rune reads only the photos you explicitly pick through Apple's system picker. The app does not scan your broader Photos library and does not run any computer-vision pipeline on photos you have not handed to it. The only Vision request the app issues is rectangle detection (VNDetectRectanglesRequest); the app does not run face recognition, text recognition, scene classification, or image generation.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Pink Rune on iOS devices you own or control, subject to Apple's standard App Store Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “EULA”) which is incorporated by reference: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Where these Terms and the Apple EULA conflict, the Apple EULA controls.

Free window and subscriptions

When you first install Pink Rune, every feature is unlocked for three days with no payment and no account. This is a no-strings free window, not a trial signup.

After the three-day window, you may continue using the app for free with up to three rune entries in total, or upgrade to Pro for unlimited runes. Pro is sold as Monthly ($3/month, auto-renewing), Annual ($13/year, auto-renewing) or Lifetime ($29 one-time), from the Settings screen or the Pro screen in the app. Nothing is billed until you choose a plan and confirm the purchase.

All payments are processed through Apple's StoreKit and are subject to Apple's standard subscription terms, including auto-renewal. You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time in the iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions screen.

The Lifetime tier is a one-time non-consumable purchase. It remains active for as long as Apple keeps Pink Rune available on the App Store under your Apple ID.

Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse engineer, modify, redistribute, or create derivative works of Pink Rune, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law. You are responsible for the photos you pick and for ensuring you have the right to use them; the app provides no editing, sharing, or publishing surface, and rune entries are kept locally for your own personal reflection.

Not a measurement tool, not professional advice

Pink Rune is a personal-artifact app that surfaces a rectangle-detection result as an overlay and a count. The detected corners are not a survey measurement, not engineering data, and not advice of any kind. Do not rely on them for construction, accessibility compliance, evidence, or any other safety-critical or legal purpose.

Disclaimers

Pink Rune is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Danielius Studio LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.

Apple as third-party beneficiary

You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Danielius Studio LLC, not Apple, and that Apple is not responsible for Pink Rune or its contents. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming, except where Apple's EULA requires otherwise.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of Pink Rune after a change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
