Pink Reel

A pocket micro-film studio. Script, storyboard, narrate, cut.

Pink Reel is a multi-step micro-film editor for iPhone. You write the script, build the storyboard, cast the narrator, and cut the film - every step is yours to shape, preview, and redo. The finished micro-film lands in a dated library where you can watch it full-screen or export it as an MP4. Everything runs on your device.

Step 1 · Write the script

Every film starts with a narration script. Type your own from scratch, or let Apple Intelligence draft one from a short idea and then edit it freely - rewrite lines, cut sentences, change the ending. The script editor is a normal text editor, not a one-shot generator: nothing is locked in until you say so.

Step 2 · Build the storyboard

Lay out up to three scenes for your film. For each scene you can generate a painted still on-device or pick a clean backdrop instead. Re-roll a scene you don't like, drag scenes into a different order, or remove one entirely. The storyboard is yours to arrange until it reads the way the script sounds.

Step 3 · Cast the narrator

Choose the narration voice from the voices installed on your device and set the speaking pace. A live preview reads your script back as you adjust, so you hear exactly how the final cut will sound before you commit.

Step 4 · Compose and cut

Pink Reel composes your scenes and narration into a single film. Trim the cut to taste, then save. Finished films live in a dated library: play them full-screen, revisit old ones, and export any film as an MP4 through the standard iOS share sheet.

Requires Apple Intelligence for AI features

Script drafting and painted-scene generation run on Apple Intelligence, available on iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16 family, iPhone 17 family, and any iPad with M-series silicon, all running iOS or iPadOS 26 or later, with Apple Intelligence enabled in Settings. You can always type your own script and build scenes from clean backdrops; the AI steps are assistants, not requirements for editing.

What stays on your device

No accounts, no email, no signup.
No analytics, no third-party SDKs.
Scripts, scenes, and finished films never leave your device.
The only network call is to Apple's StoreKit when you choose to subscribe.

Pricing

Three micro-films free on install. After that, choose Pro Monthly at $4 (14-day free intro on first sign-up), Pro Annual at $25, or a one-time Lifetime unlock at $59. Pro unlocks unlimited films plus export extras. All purchases are handled by Apple and managed under your Apple ID. Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled in iOS Settings at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

To restore a purchase on a new device, open Pink Reel, tap the settings icon, open the paywall, and tap Restore Purchases. Apple will re-verify your Apple ID's entitlements.

To cancel an auto-renewing subscription, open the Settings app on iPhone, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions, then Pink Reel Pro.
