Privacy Policy

Short version

Pink Press does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Each evening at nine, Pink Press reads today's Health data, calendar, and weather — all on your device — and Apple's on-device language model composes a one-page newspaper as a PDF. The PDF, the Health snapshot, the calendar digest — all stay on your device. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no third-party SDKs that contact a server. The only network calls the app makes are to Apple's WeatherKit for the daily weather column and to Apple's StoreKit when you choose to subscribe or unlock the Lifetime tier.

Who we are

Pink Press is published by Danielius Studio LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company at 30 N Gould St, Suite #5280, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA (“we”, “us”).

Data we do NOT collect

System permissions

Pink Press requests HealthKit read access for today's peak-moment headline (steps, workouts, sleep), Calendars read access for the appointments digest, and Location access for the daily WeatherKit call. All reads happen on-device. The app never writes back to HealthKit or Calendars. You can revoke any permission at any time in iOS Settings → Pink Press.

What stays on your device

All of the above lives on your device and never leaves it. Uninstalling the app deletes it.

On-device intelligence (Apple Intelligence)

The newspaper composition uses Apple's on-device language model, accessed through the public Foundation Models framework on iOS 26. The model executes on your iPhone's Neural Engine. The HealthKit / EventKit / WeatherKit snapshot is passed to the model in-process and never leaves the device. The app does not use Apple's Private Cloud Compute fallback for this feature.

Pink Press is available only on Apple Intelligence-capable devices (iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16, or newer) running iOS 26 or later. On older or unsupported devices, the app cannot compose a newspaper.

WeatherKit

Pink Press makes one network call per day to Apple's WeatherKit service to fetch today's weather column. The request includes your coarse location and is governed by Apple's WeatherKit privacy terms. No personally identifying information is included in the request beyond what Apple uses to return local conditions.

In-app purchases

Free use includes three daily editions lifetime. Pink Press Pro unlocks unlimited daily editions, full edition library, and the Lock Screen widget. If you choose to subscribe (Monthly, Annual) or buy the Lifetime unlock, that transaction is handled by Apple's StoreKit. Apple processes the payment and shares only the receipt with the app so we can verify your entitlement. We never see your card number, billing address, or any personal information beyond Apple's opaque transaction identifier.

Subscription receipts are stored on-device by iOS and used to validate your entitlement when you re-open the app. They are not sent to any server we operate.

Family Sharing

Pink Press Pro purchases (Monthly, Annual, Lifetime) are Family-Shareable through Apple's standard Family Sharing mechanism. Apple handles eligibility checks; we do not see who is in your family group.

Children

Pink Press is rated 4+ in the App Store. Because the app collects no data at all, it complies with COPPA and similar children's-privacy regulations by design.

Your rights

Because Pink Press does not collect data, there is nothing for us to export, correct, or delete on your behalf. To revoke all access and remove all on-device state, including every edition PDF, simply delete the app.

Changes

If we ever introduce a feature that involves any personal data leaving the device (for example, cloud sync of editions), this page will be updated and the “Last updated” date at the top will change. For v1.0, no such feature exists.
