Acceptance

By installing or using the Pink Ping iOS app (“Pink Ping”, “the app”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.

Pink Ping is published by Danielius Studio LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company at 30 N Gould St, Suite #5280, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA (“we”, “us”).

What Pink Ping is

Pink Ping is a one-second voice moment capture app for iPhone. Each press of the Action Button (or the in-app capture button) records exactly one second of audio and saves it on-device. At year end, Pro subscribers can export a single audio collage that stitches every captured moment together in chronological order.

Pink Ping is not a meeting recorder, not a voice memo app for long recordings, and not a transcription service. Every capture is exactly one second long. The app does not convert audio to text, does not analyze content with a language model, and does not record in the background. Intended use is personal: a heard phrase, an ambient moment, your own voice marking a thought.

The app makes no network calls except to Apple's StoreKit for in-app purchases. All audio storage, year-collage composition (via AVMutableComposition), and optional cover-art generation (via Apple's Image Playground) happen entirely on your device. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Action Button compatibility

Pink Ping registers an App Shortcut that is compatible with the iPhone Action Button on Pro models from iPhone 15 Pro onward and on the iPhone 16 standard lineup. You assign the shortcut in iOS Settings → Action Button. On iPhones without an Action Button, the in-app tap-to-capture button performs the identical one-second recording. Action Button binding is handled entirely by iOS.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Pink Ping on iOS devices you own or control, subject to Apple's standard App Store Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “EULA”) which is incorporated by reference: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Where these Terms and the Apple EULA conflict, the Apple EULA controls.

Free window and subscriptions

When you first install Pink Ping, every feature is unlocked for three days with no payment and no account. This is a no-strings free window, not a trial signup.

After the three-day window, you may continue using the app for free with up to three captured moments lifetime, OR accept a one-time gift screen offering two weeks free of the Monthly subscription ($4/month after the two weeks). You may also purchase Annual ($25/year) or Lifetime ($59 one-time) at any time from the Settings screen.

All payments are processed through Apple's StoreKit and are subject to Apple's standard subscription terms, including auto-renewal. You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time in the iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions screen.

The Lifetime tier is a one-time non-consumable purchase. It remains active for as long as Apple keeps Pink Ping available on the App Store under your Apple ID.

Acceptable use

You may use Pink Ping only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to reverse engineer, modify, redistribute, or create derivative works of the app, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law.

Recording consent and your responsibility

Audio recording laws vary by country, state, and context. In some jurisdictions all parties to a conversation must consent before any audio is captured; in others one-party consent is sufficient. You are solely responsible for compliance with the audio recording laws that apply to you and to anyone within range of your microphone at the moment of capture.

Do not record third parties without their consent where their consent is legally required. Do not use Pink Ping to capture conversations, calls, or other content you are not legally entitled to record. Danielius Studio LLC is not responsible for your compliance with these laws.

Not therapy, not medical advice

Pink Ping is a personal moment-capture tool. It does not provide therapy, diagnosis, or medical advice. If you are considering using Pink Ping in the context of memory loss, cognitive decline, or any clinical condition, consult a qualified professional first.

Disclaimers

Pink Ping is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Danielius Studio LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app, including any loss of captured audio.

Apple as third-party beneficiary

You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Danielius Studio LLC, not Apple, and that Apple is not responsible for Pink Ping or its contents. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming, except where Apple's EULA requires otherwise.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of Pink Ping after a change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
