Terms of Use

Acceptance

By installing or using the Pink Paper iOS app (“Pink Paper”, “the app”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.

Pink Paper is published by Danielius Studio LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company at 30 N Gould St, Suite #5280, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA (“we”, “us”).

What Pink Paper is

Pink Paper is a personal daily-artifact app for iPhone. Once a day, you pick a background — a blank page, a photo from your Photos library, or a screenshot — and annotate it with Apple Pencil or your finger using Apple's iOS 26 PaperKit framework. The marked-up page is saved as today's entry and becomes part of a year archive you can revisit when you unlock Pro.

Pink Paper is not a full illustration tool, a PDF annotator, a cloud notebook, or a substitute for your Photos library. It does not modify, delete, or write back to the original photos that live in your library. Pages are personal artifacts kept locally on your device.

Pink Paper requires iOS 26 or later, since the PaperKit framework it relies on is part of iOS 26. On older versions of iOS the app is unavailable.

The app makes no network calls except to Apple's StoreKit for in-app purchases. PaperKit and PencilKit run entirely on-device. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Photos permission and what we do with it

Pink Paper requests Photos access only when you choose the “From photo” background option, and only reads the single photo you explicitly pick through Apple's system picker. The app does not scan your broader Photos library, does not run any computer-vision pipeline on your photos, and does not analyze the contents of the image. PaperKit simply uses your picked image as the background you draw over.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Pink Paper on iOS devices you own or control, subject to Apple's standard App Store Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “EULA”) which is incorporated by reference: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Where these Terms and the Apple EULA conflict, the Apple EULA controls.

Free window and subscriptions

When you first install Pink Paper, every feature is unlocked for three days with no payment and no account. This is a no-strings free window, not a trial signup.

After the three-day window, you may continue using the app for free with up to three paper entries lifetime, OR accept a one-time gift screen offering two weeks free of the Monthly subscription ($4/month after the two weeks). You may also purchase Annual ($25/year) or Lifetime ($59 one-time) at any time from the Settings screen. Pro unlocks unlimited paper entries and the year archive.

All payments are processed through Apple's StoreKit and are subject to Apple's standard subscription terms, including auto-renewal. You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time in the iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions screen.

The Lifetime tier is a one-time non-consumable purchase. It remains active for as long as Apple keeps Pink Paper available on the App Store under your Apple ID.

Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse engineer, modify, redistribute, or create derivative works of Pink Paper, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law. You are responsible for the photos and screenshots you choose as backgrounds and for ensuring you have the right to use them; the app provides no publishing surface, and pages are kept locally for your own personal reflection.

Not therapy, not medical advice

Pink Paper is a personal-artifact and creative-annotation tool. The pages you draw are not therapy, diagnosis, or medical advice. The app does not interpret the meaning of your annotations or claim to address mental-health conditions.

Disclaimers

Pink Paper is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Danielius Studio LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.

Apple as third-party beneficiary

You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Danielius Studio LLC, not Apple, and that Apple is not responsible for Pink Paper or its contents. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming, except where Apple's EULA requires otherwise.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of Pink Paper after a change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
