Acceptance

By installing or using the Pink Hue iOS app (“Pink Hue”, “the app”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.

Pink Hue is published by Danielius Studio LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company at 30 N Gould St, Suite #5280, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA (“we”, “us”).

What Pink Hue is

Pink Hue is a personal palette-extraction journal for iPhone. You pick a photo from your own Photos library and Pink Hue uses Apple's Core Image framework on-device to cluster the photo's pixels into a dominant five-color palette. The five hex swatches, a 512-pixel thumbnail, and a note you can type become a dated hue entry.

Pink Hue is not a photo editor, a social photo-sharing service, a cloud backup, or a substitute for your Photos library. It does not modify, delete, or write back to the original photos that live in your library. Hue entries are personal artifacts kept locally on your device.

The app makes no network calls except to Apple's StoreKit for in-app purchases. Palette extraction runs entirely on-device through Core Image. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Photos permission and what we do with it

Pink Hue reads only the photos you explicitly pick through Apple's system picker. The app does not scan your broader Photos library and does not run color clustering on photos you have not explicitly picked. The Core Image palette extractor returns aggregate color values and does not perform face recognition or any biometric analysis.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Pink Hue on iOS devices you own or control, subject to Apple's standard App Store Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “EULA”) which is incorporated by reference: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Where these Terms and the Apple EULA conflict, the Apple EULA controls.

Free entries and subscriptions

Pink Hue is free to install and free to use for your first three hue entries lifetime. After the third hue, continuing to add new entries requires Pro.

Pro is available as a Monthly subscription at $4/month with a 14-day introductory offer on the Monthly plan, an Annual subscription at $25/year, or a Lifetime unlock at $59 one-time. Pro unlocks unlimited hue entries.

All payments are processed through Apple's StoreKit and are subject to Apple's standard subscription terms, including auto-renewal. You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time in the iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions screen.

The Lifetime tier is a one-time non-consumable purchase. It remains active for as long as Apple keeps Pink Hue available on the App Store under your Apple ID.

Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse engineer, modify, redistribute, or create derivative works of Pink Hue, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law. You are responsible for the photos you pick and for ensuring you have the right to use them; the app provides no editing, sharing, or publishing surface, and hue entries are kept locally for your own personal reference.

Not color-accurate, not for professional matching

Pink Hue's palette is an aesthetic approximation produced by k-means clustering of the photo's pixels. The hex values are not color-managed, are not calibrated to any specific color space beyond sRGB, and should not be relied on for professional print matching, brand color reproduction, or any decision where color accuracy matters.

Disclaimers

Pink Hue is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Danielius Studio LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.

Apple as third-party beneficiary

You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Danielius Studio LLC, not Apple, and that Apple is not responsible for Pink Hue or its contents. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming, except where Apple's EULA requires otherwise.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of Pink Hue after a change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
