Acceptance

By installing or using the Pink Hatch iOS app (“Pink Hatch”, “the app”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.

Pink Hatch is published by Danielius Studio LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company at 30 N Gould St, Suite #5280, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA (“we”, “us”).

What Pink Hatch is

Pink Hatch is a personal bokeh-blur app for iPhone. You pick one photo from your Photos library, drag three sliders for radius, ring amount, and softness, and Pink Hatch applies Apple's built-in Core Image bokeh-blur filter (CIBokehBlur) to render an optical-style blur with circular ring highlights. The source and the filtered result are saved as a dated entry with the three parameter values and an optional note.

Pink Hatch is not a portrait-mode replacement, a depth-aware editor, a social photo-sharing service, or a substitute for the Photos library. The blur is applied uniformly across the picked photo by Apple's built-in filter; the app does not estimate depth, segment subjects, or modify the original image in your library. Hatch entries are personal artifacts kept locally on your device.

The app makes no network calls except to Apple's StoreKit for in-app purchases. The Core Image filter runs entirely on-device. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Photos permission and what we do with it

Pink Hatch reads only the photos you explicitly pick through Apple's system picker. The app does not scan your broader Photos library, does not run any computer-vision pipeline on your photos, and does not analyze the contents of the image. The filter operates on the raw pixel data of the photo you picked; the app does not interpret the scene.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Pink Hatch on iOS devices you own or control, subject to Apple's standard App Store Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “EULA”) which is incorporated by reference: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Where these Terms and the Apple EULA conflict, the Apple EULA controls.

Free window and subscriptions

When you first install Pink Hatch, every feature is unlocked for three days with no payment and no account. This is a no-strings free window, not a trial signup.

After the three-day window, you may continue using the app for free with up to three hatch entries lifetime, OR accept a one-time gift screen offering two weeks free of the Monthly subscription ($4/month after the two weeks). You may also purchase Annual ($25/year) or Lifetime ($59 one-time) at any time from the Settings screen. Pro unlocks unlimited hatches, the year wall PDF export, and the Lock Screen widget.

All payments are processed through Apple's StoreKit and are subject to Apple's standard subscription terms, including auto-renewal. You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time in the iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions screen.

The Lifetime tier is a one-time non-consumable purchase. It remains active for as long as Apple keeps Pink Hatch available on the App Store under your Apple ID.

Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse engineer, modify, redistribute, or create derivative works of Pink Hatch, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law. You are responsible for the photos you pick and for ensuring you have the right to use them; the app provides no editing pipeline beyond the bokeh-blur filter, no sharing surface, and no publishing surface. Hatch entries are kept locally for your own personal reflection.

Not a portrait editor, not professional advice

Pink Hatch is a personal-artifact app that applies a single built-in Core Image filter to a picked photo. It is not a professional photo-editing tool, not a depth-aware portrait editor, and not a substitute for purpose-built imaging software. Output is provided for personal enjoyment only.

Disclaimers

Pink Hatch is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Danielius Studio LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.

Apple as third-party beneficiary

You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Danielius Studio LLC, not Apple, and that Apple is not responsible for Pink Hatch or its contents. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming, except where Apple's EULA requires otherwise.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of Pink Hatch after a change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
