Pink Halo
Look once. Read your face.
Pink Halo captures a daily expression vector. Open the app, look at the TrueDepth front camera, and one frame is read by ARKit into 52 blendshape coefficients. The frame is discarded the moment it is read. Only the 52 floats and a single label (the dominant expression) are saved. Over a year the entries settle into a radar chart Pro members can keep on their phone. Pink Halo never uploads a photo and never connects to Apple Health.
How it works
- Open Pink Halo. Tap the + to start a new capture.
- Hold your iPhone in front of your face. The TrueDepth camera reads one frame.
- ARKit extracts 52 blendshape coefficients (mouthSmile, browInnerUp, eyeWide, jawOpen, etc.).
- The frame is discarded. The 52 floats plus a dominant-expression label are saved with today's date.
- Open the year radar chart to see the shape of your year of expressions.
What stays on your device
- The frame is never saved. It is held only long enough to read blendshapes, then discarded.
- No photo, no video, no microphone, no Apple Health.
- No accounts, no email, no signup, no analytics, no third-party SDKs.
- Entries are stored on-device with SwiftData. Nothing leaves your phone.
- The only network calls Pink Halo makes are to Apple's StoreKit when you choose to subscribe or buy Lifetime.
What you need
- An iPhone with the TrueDepth front camera (iPhone X or later).
- iOS 18 or later is recommended.
- No microphone, no photo library, no location, no Apple Health.
Pricing
Pink Halo lets you capture 3 expressions for free. Pro unlocks unlimited captures, the year radar PDF export, and the Lock Screen widget with today's dominant expression:
- Pro Monthly: $3/month, with a 14-day free intro on the first subscription.
- Pro Annual: $13/year.
- Pro Lifetime: $29 one-time.
All purchases are handled by Apple and managed under your Apple ID. Pro is Family-Shareable through Apple's standard Family Sharing.
Pink Halo is a journal, not a medical or diagnostic tool. The dominant-expression label is derived from the blendshape values and is descriptive only.

To restore a purchase on a new device, open Pink Halo, tap the settings icon, open the paywall, and tap Restore Purchases. Apple will re-verify your Apple ID's entitlements.
To cancel an auto-renewing subscription, open the Settings app on iPhone, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions, then Pink Halo Pro.
