Terms of Use

Acceptance

By installing or using the Pink Frame iOS app (“Pink Frame”, “the app”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.

Pink Frame is published by Danielius Studio LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company at 30 N Gould St, Suite #5280, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA (“we”, “us”).

What Pink Frame is

Pink Frame is a personal daily-artifact app for iPhone. Once a day, you record a 3-second clip. On iPhone 13 Pro and newer, the capture uses Cinematic video so the file carries focus-rack metadata that lets you adjust subject focus during playback. On older devices, the recording falls back to a standard 1080p MOV. The clip becomes a dated entry you can revisit, plus a year reel composition and a Lock Screen widget when you unlock Pro.

Pink Frame is not a general-purpose video camera, a vlogging tool, a video editor, a social video-sharing service, or a cloud backup. Clips are short personal captures kept locally for your own reflection.

Cinematic video capture requires iPhone 13 Pro or iPhone 13 Pro Max or newer. On unsupported devices, the daily 3-second capture still works as a standard 1080p MOV, but the focus-rack feature is unavailable for those entries.

The app makes no network calls except to Apple's StoreKit for in-app purchases. The MOV files stay on-device. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Camera and microphone permissions and what we do with them

Pink Frame opens the camera and microphone only during the 3 seconds of an active recording that you start by tapping the record button. The video file (which includes synchronized audio) is saved into the app's private container. The app does not perform facial recognition, does not run scene classification, does not transcribe audio, and does not run any inference pipeline on your clips.

Optional Photos library access (Pro export)

Pink Frame Pro includes an Export action that writes a saved cinematic clip to your Photos library so the Photos app can drive the focus-rack control. The Export action is opt-in and requests the add-only Photos permission only at the moment you tap it. By default, Pink Frame does not read or write to your Photos library.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Pink Frame on iOS devices you own or control, subject to Apple's standard App Store Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “EULA”) which is incorporated by reference: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Where these Terms and the Apple EULA conflict, the Apple EULA controls.

Free window and subscriptions

When you first install Pink Frame, every feature is unlocked for three days with no payment and no account. This is a no-strings free window, not a trial signup.

After the three-day window, you may continue using the app for free with up to three cinematic clips lifetime, OR accept a one-time gift screen offering two weeks free of the Monthly subscription ($4/month after the two weeks). You may also purchase Annual ($25/year) or Lifetime ($59 one-time) at any time from the Settings screen. Pro unlocks unlimited clips, the year reel composition, and the Lock Screen widget.

All payments are processed through Apple's StoreKit and are subject to Apple's standard subscription terms, including auto-renewal. You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time in the iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions screen.

The Lifetime tier is a one-time non-consumable purchase. It remains active for as long as Apple keeps Pink Frame available on the App Store under your Apple ID.

Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse engineer, modify, redistribute, or create derivative works of Pink Frame, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law. You are responsible for the video you record and for ensuring you have the right to record it; the app provides no built-in sharing or publishing surface, and clips are kept locally for your own personal reflection.

Not therapy, not medical advice

Pink Frame is a personal-artifact and visual journaling tool. The year reel composition is a creative reflection surface, not therapy, diagnosis, or medical advice.

Disclaimers

Pink Frame is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Danielius Studio LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.

Apple as third-party beneficiary

You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Danielius Studio LLC, not Apple, and that Apple is not responsible for Pink Frame or its contents. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming, except where Apple's EULA requires otherwise.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of Pink Frame after a change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
