Terms of Use

Acceptance

By installing or using the Pink Echo iOS app (“Pink Echo”, “the app”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.

Pink Echo is published by Danielius Studio LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company at 30 N Gould St, Suite #5280, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA (“we”, “us”).

What Pink Echo is

Pink Echo is a personal daily-reflection app for iPhone. Once a day, you type a one-to-three-line seed describing how the day felt. Pink Echo asks Apple's on-device Foundation Models to expand the seed into an 80–120 word reflective letter, then plays the letter back to you in your own Personal Voice using Apple's AVSpeechSynthesizer. The seed, letter, and audio become a dated entry you can revisit, plus a year audio archive and a Lock Screen widget when you unlock Pro.

Pink Echo is not therapy, a voice cloning service, an audio editor, or a cloud backup. It does not record your microphone, does not produce a voice from scratch, and does not upload your reflections anywhere. Letters and audio are personal artifacts kept locally on your device.

Letter expansion requires iOS 26 or later on an Apple Intelligence-capable iPhone (iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16, or newer with the A17 Pro chip or later). Personal Voice requires iOS 17 or later and must be set up by you in iOS Settings before Pink Echo can use it. On devices where Personal Voice is not available, a standard system voice is used as a fallback.

The app makes no network calls except to Apple's StoreKit for in-app purchases. The language model and speech synthesis run entirely on-device. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Personal Voice and what we do with it

Pink Echo uses the Personal Voice you set up yourself in iOS Settings. The app does not record voice samples, does not train a voice, and does not have direct access to the voice model — it only asks the system to synthesize a passage of text in the voice you have already authorized. You can revoke Pink Echo's access at any time in iOS Settings → Accessibility → Personal Voice.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Pink Echo on iOS devices you own or control, subject to Apple's standard App Store Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “EULA”) which is incorporated by reference: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Where these Terms and the Apple EULA conflict, the Apple EULA controls.

Free window and subscriptions

When you first install Pink Echo, every feature is unlocked for three days with no payment and no account. This is a no-strings free window, not a trial signup.

After the three-day window, you may continue using the app for free with up to three echo entries lifetime, OR accept a one-time gift screen offering two weeks free of the Monthly subscription ($4/month after the two weeks). You may also purchase Annual ($25/year) or Lifetime ($59 one-time) at any time from the Settings screen. Pro unlocks unlimited daily letters and the Lock Screen widget.

All payments are processed through Apple's StoreKit and are subject to Apple's standard subscription terms, including auto-renewal. You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time in the iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions screen.

The Lifetime tier is a one-time non-consumable purchase. It remains active for as long as Apple keeps Pink Echo available on the App Store under your Apple ID.

Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse engineer, modify, redistribute, or create derivative works of Pink Echo, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law. You are responsible for the reflections you write and for ensuring you have the right to use the Personal Voice that has been set up on your device; the app provides no sharing or publishing surface, and letters are kept locally for your own personal reflection.

Not therapy, not medical advice

Pink Echo is a personal-reflection and creative-writing tool. The letters are generated by an on-device language model from a seed you type and are not therapy, diagnosis, or medical advice. The app does not interpret the meaning of your day or claim to address mental-health conditions.

Disclaimers

Pink Echo is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Danielius Studio LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.

Apple as third-party beneficiary

You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Danielius Studio LLC, not Apple, and that Apple is not responsible for Pink Echo or its contents. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming, except where Apple's EULA requires otherwise.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of Pink Echo after a change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
