Terms of Use
Acceptance
By installing or using the Pink Climb iOS app (“Pink Climb”, “the app”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.
Pink Climb is published by Danielius Studio LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company at 30 N Gould St, Suite #5280, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA (“we”, “us”).
What Pink Climb is
Pink Climb is a personal daily-artifact app for iPhone. You tap Start to begin a session, then tap Stop when you are done. While the session runs, Apple's CMAltimeter reads relative altitude changes from your iPhone's barometer hardware. The app saves the recorded samples, the duration, and the total elevation gain as a dated climb entry you can revisit, plus a printable year wall PDF and a Lock Screen widget when you unlock Pro.
Pink Climb is not a GPS tracker, a hiking app, a fitness tracker, a route recorder, or a cloud backup. It does not record where you are, does not draw maps, and does not classify activities. Climb entries are personal artifacts kept locally on your device.
A session requires a device with barometer hardware (iPhone 6 or later) and Core Motion altimeter support. CMAltimeter reports relative altitude changes from the moment Start is tapped — not absolute elevation above sea level.
The app makes no network calls except to Apple's StoreKit for in-app purchases. Barometer readings stay on-device. See the Privacy Policy for details.
No location permission, no GPS
Pink Climb does not request location permission. The altimeter reads only the barometer chip, which measures air pressure and converts it into a relative altitude reading. The app does not know where your device is, does not record routes, and does not draw maps.
License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Pink Climb on iOS devices you own or control, subject to Apple's standard App Store Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “EULA”) which is incorporated by reference: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Where these Terms and the Apple EULA conflict, the Apple EULA controls.
Free window and subscriptions
When you first install Pink Climb, every feature is unlocked for three days with no payment and no account. This is a no-strings free window, not a trial signup.
After the three-day window, you may continue using the app for free with up to three climb sessions lifetime, OR accept a one-time gift screen offering two weeks free of the Monthly subscription ($4/month after the two weeks). You may also purchase Annual ($25/year) or Lifetime ($59 one-time) at any time from the Settings screen. Pro unlocks unlimited climb sessions, the year wall PDF export, and the Lock Screen widget.
All payments are processed through Apple's StoreKit and are subject to Apple's standard subscription terms, including auto-renewal. You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time in the iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions screen.
The Lifetime tier is a one-time non-consumable purchase. It remains active for as long as Apple keeps Pink Climb available on the App Store under your Apple ID.
Acceptable use
You agree not to reverse engineer, modify, redistribute, or create derivative works of Pink Climb, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law. The app provides no editing, sharing, or publishing surface, and climb sessions are kept locally for your own personal reflection.
Not a safety, navigation, or fitness instrument
The altitude numbers Pink Climb reports are relative barometer readings intended for personal artifact-keeping. They are not a calibrated altimeter, not a safety instrument, and not suitable for hiking navigation, aviation, climbing routefinding, search-and-rescue, or any situation where an inaccurate altitude reading could contribute to harm. Barometer-derived altitude drifts with weather and can be affected by elevators, vehicles, and air pressure changes that are not climbs.
Pink Climb is also not a fitness tracker or medical device. It does not estimate calories, heart rate, exertion level, or any health metric. Talk to a qualified professional before starting strenuous activity.
Disclaimers
Pink Climb is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Danielius Studio LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.
Apple as third-party beneficiary
You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Danielius Studio LLC, not Apple, and that Apple is not responsible for Pink Climb or its contents. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming, except where Apple's EULA requires otherwise.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of Pink Climb after a change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
