Terms of Use
Acceptance
By installing or using the Pink Chord iOS app (“Pink Chord”, “the app”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.
Pink Chord is published by Danielius Studio LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company at 30 N Gould St, Suite #5280, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA (“we”, “us”).
What Pink Chord is
Pink Chord is a personal daily-artifact app for iPhone. Once a day, you type a one-line mood. Pink Chord asks Apple MusicKit for personalized song recommendations matching that mood and curates a 5–7 song playlist, then writes a short caption on-device with Apple's Foundation Models. The chord becomes a dated entry you can revisit, plus a year-long mega-playlist exportable to Apple Music and a Lock Screen widget when you unlock Pro.
Pink Chord is not a music streaming service, a music store, or a substitute for the Apple Music app. It does not host or distribute songs; it asks MusicKit for recommendations and plays tracks back through your existing Apple Music account.
Caption generation requires iOS 26 or later on an Apple Intelligence-capable iPhone (iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16, or newer with the A17 Pro chip or later). Playback of recommended songs requires an active Apple Music subscription. On devices or accounts without those, chords still save with the mood, but the caption and full-track playback may be unavailable.
The app makes no network calls except to Apple MusicKit and to Apple's StoreKit for in-app purchases. The language model runs entirely on-device. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Apple Music and what we do with it
Pink Chord calls MusicKit with the one-line mood you typed and receives a set of song identifiers, titles, and artist names from Apple. Recommendations are shaped by Apple based on your Apple Music account and the mood; we have no influence over which songs Apple suggests. Song selection, ranking, and availability are determined by Apple Music and may vary by region and licensing.
License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Pink Chord on iOS devices you own or control, subject to Apple's standard App Store Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “EULA”) which is incorporated by reference: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Where these Terms and the Apple EULA conflict, the Apple EULA controls. Use of Apple Music through Pink Chord is also subject to Apple's Apple Music Terms of Service.
Free window and subscriptions
When you first install Pink Chord, every feature is unlocked for three days with no payment and no account. This is a no-strings free window, not a trial signup.
After the three-day window, you may continue using the app for free with up to three playlist entries lifetime, OR accept a one-time gift screen offering two weeks free of the Monthly subscription ($4/month after the two weeks). You may also purchase Annual ($25/year) or Lifetime ($59 one-time) at any time from the Settings screen. Pro unlocks unlimited chord playlists, the year mega-playlist export to Apple Music, and the Lock Screen widget. Pink Chord Pro is separate from your Apple Music subscription and does not include access to Apple Music itself.
All payments are processed through Apple's StoreKit and are subject to Apple's standard subscription terms, including auto-renewal. You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time in the iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions screen.
The Lifetime tier is a one-time non-consumable purchase. It remains active for as long as Apple keeps Pink Chord available on the App Store under your Apple ID.
Acceptable use
You agree not to reverse engineer, modify, redistribute, or create derivative works of Pink Chord, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law. You agree to use the Apple Music recommendations the app surfaces only in accordance with Apple's Apple Music terms.
Not therapy, not medical advice
Pink Chord is a personal-artifact and music-discovery tool. The short captions are generated by an on-device language model from a mood you type and are not therapy, diagnosis, or medical advice. The app does not claim to address mental-health conditions or evaluate your emotional state.
Disclaimers
Pink Chord is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Danielius Studio LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or licensing of songs returned by Apple Music.
Apple as third-party beneficiary
You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Danielius Studio LLC, not Apple, and that Apple is not responsible for Pink Chord or its contents. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming, except where Apple's EULA requires otherwise.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of Pink Chord after a change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
