Terms of Use

Acceptance

By installing or using the Pink Bloom iOS app (“Pink Bloom”, “the app”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.

Pink Bloom is published by Danielius Studio LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company at 30 N Gould St, Suite #5280, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA (“we”, “us”).

What Pink Bloom is

Pink Bloom is a personal mood-logging app for iPhone. You log a daily bloom using Apple's State of Mind UI: a valence slider from −1 (very unpleasant) to +1 (very pleasant), plus emotion labels (Happy, Sad, Angry, Anxious, Calm, and so on) drawn from Apple's clinical taxonomy as exposed through HealthKit. Each bloom is written as an HKStateOfMind sample to Apple Health, and a copy is saved as a Pink Bloom entry you can revisit. Pro unlocks unlimited blooms, the year valence scatter chart, and a Lock Screen widget.

Pink Bloom is not a journaling service with cloud sync, a social posting tool, a substitute for therapy, or a clinical diagnostic tool. Entries are personal artifacts stored locally on your device, with the canonical State of Mind sample living in Apple Health under your control.

The app makes no network calls except to Apple's StoreKit for in-app purchases. All data flow stays between Pink Bloom and Apple Health on your device. See the Privacy Policy for details.

HealthKit permissions and what we do with them

Pink Bloom needs two HealthKit permissions to function. The read permission (NSHealthShareUsageDescription) is used only to fetch back the State of Mind samples Pink Bloom itself previously wrote, so you can see your own history inside the app. The write permission (NSHealthUpdateUsageDescription) is used to save each new bloom as an HKStateOfMind sample. Pink Bloom does not request, read, or write any other HealthKit category. You may revoke either permission at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Pink Bloom.

The emotion labels you choose from are Apple's clinical State of Mind taxonomy, not labels invented by Pink Bloom. The valence range from −1 to +1 is the standard HealthKit HKStateOfMind.Valence range.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Pink Bloom on iOS devices you own or control, subject to Apple's standard App Store Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “EULA”) which is incorporated by reference: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Where these Terms and the Apple EULA conflict, the Apple EULA controls.

Free window and subscriptions

When you first install Pink Bloom, every feature is unlocked for three days with no payment and no account. This is a no-strings free window, not a trial signup.

After the three-day window, you may continue using the app for free with up to three bloom entries lifetime, OR accept a one-time gift screen offering two weeks free of the Monthly subscription ($4/month after the two weeks). You may also purchase Annual ($25/year) or Lifetime ($59 one-time) at any time from the Settings screen. Pro unlocks unlimited blooms, the year valence scatter chart, and the Lock Screen widget.

All payments are processed through Apple's StoreKit and are subject to Apple's standard subscription terms, including auto-renewal. You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time in the iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions screen.

The Lifetime tier is a one-time non-consumable purchase. It remains active for as long as Apple keeps Pink Bloom available on the App Store under your Apple ID.

Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse engineer, modify, redistribute, or create derivative works of Pink Bloom, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law. You are responsible for the moods you log; the app provides no sharing or publishing surface, and entries are kept locally for your own personal reflection.

Not therapy, not medical advice

Pink Bloom is a personal mood-logging tool. The valence value and emotion labels you record are not a clinical diagnosis, not therapy, and not medical advice. The app does not interpret your mood patterns or recommend treatment. If you are struggling with your mental health, please contact a qualified professional or a crisis line in your country.

Disclaimers

Pink Bloom is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Danielius Studio LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.

Apple as third-party beneficiary

You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Danielius Studio LLC, not Apple, and that Apple is not responsible for Pink Bloom or its contents. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming, except where Apple's EULA requires otherwise.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of Pink Bloom after a change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
