Privacy Policy

Short version

Pink Balm lets you add the skincare products you use, build a morning and an evening routine from them, check each step off every day, and keep a weekly progress photo. All of it is stored on your device and never leaves it. There are no accounts, no analytics, no AI analysis of your face or skin, and no third-party SDKs that contact a server. The only network calls the app makes are to Apple's StoreKit when you choose to subscribe or unlock the Lifetime tier.

Who we are

Pink Balm is published by Danielius Studio LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company at 30 N Gould St, Suite #5280, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA (“we”, “us”).

Data we do NOT collect

• No account, no email, no password. The app has no signup.
• No analytics, no telemetry, no event tracking.
• No advertising identifiers (no IDFA, no fingerprinting).
• No usage data sent off the device.
• No face detection, no skin analysis, no AI of any kind on your photos.
• No microphone, no location, no contacts, no calendar.
• No HealthKit, no Health data.

Camera and photos

Pink Balm requests Camera access (the NSCameraUsageDescription permission) only when you choose Take Photo for your weekly progress photo. If you choose a photo from your library instead, you pick it in Apple's system photo picker, which hands Pink Balm only that photo; Pink Balm does not browse your Photos library.

The photo you take or pick is saved inside Pink Balm. It is not added to your Photos library, not analyzed, and not uploaded.

What stays on your device

• Your products (the name, brand and type you enter, and the date you added each one).
• Your morning and evening routines (which products are in each, in what order, and when you last checked each step off).
• Your weekly progress photos and the date each was saved.
• The date the app was first launched (used to time the three-day free window). Stored in UserDefaults.

Products, routines and photos are stored in on-device SwiftData, with photo bytes held as external storage in the app's private container. All of the above lives on your device and never leaves it. Uninstalling the app deletes everything Pink Balm has stored.

Widget

Pink Balm includes a Lock Screen and Home Screen widget that opens the app. It shows no routine data and reads nothing from your products or photos, and nothing is sent off the device for the widget to function.

In-app purchases

Everything is unlocked for your first 3 days. After that, Pink Balm is free for up to 2 products in total, and you may subscribe (Monthly $4/month, Annual $25/year) or unlock the Lifetime tier ($59 one-time) to add unlimited products. The transaction is handled by Apple's StoreKit. Apple processes the payment and shares only the receipt with the app so we can verify your entitlement. We never see your card number, billing address, or any personal information beyond Apple's opaque transaction identifier.

Your purchase status is also remembered on the device, so the app opens unlocked after a purchase. It is not sent to any server we operate.

Family Sharing

Pink Balm Pro purchases (Monthly, Annual, Lifetime) are Family-Shareable through Apple's standard Family Sharing mechanism. Apple handles eligibility checks; we do not see who is in your family group.

Children

Pink Balm is rated 4+ in the App Store. Because the app collects no data at all, it complies with COPPA and similar children's-privacy regulations by design.

Your rights

Because Pink Balm does not collect data, there is nothing for us to export, correct, or delete on your behalf. You can delete a product inside the app, and you can turn Camera access off in the iOS Settings app, under Privacy & Security, Camera. To remove all on-device state, delete the app.

Changes

If we ever introduce a feature that involves any data leaving the device, this page will be updated and the “Last updated” date at the top will change.
