Short version

Pink Aura reads a small set of Health metrics that you explicitly grant access to (sleep, heart rate variability, steps, active energy, resting heart rate), and passes yesterday's values to Apple's on-device Foundation Models. The model writes a one-paragraph essay reflecting on your day. The essay text and the summary statistics stay on your device. Pink Aura has no account, no analytics, no third-party servers, and no advertising identifiers. The only network calls the app makes are to Apple's StoreKit when you choose to subscribe or unlock the Lifetime tier.

Not a medical device. Not medical advice. Pink Aura is a personal reflection journal. It does NOT diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. The essays are creative reflections on Health data, not clinical interpretations. Consult a qualified clinician for health concerns. Do NOT use Pink Aura to make medical decisions.

Who we are

Pink Aura is published by Danielius Studio LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company at 30 N Gould St, Suite #5280, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA (“we”, “us”).

Data we do NOT collect

HealthKit (read-only)

Pink Aura requests read-only access to a small set of Health categories that you must grant individually at first launch:

Health data is read from Apple Health on-device through the public HealthKit APIs. Pink Aura reads only yesterday's values when it generates the daily essay; it does not continuously monitor or background-poll your Health data.

Pink Aura never writes to Apple Health. It does not add, edit, or delete any Health sample. It only reads.

Pink Aura never shares your Health data with anyone. Health values are read into memory, passed to the on-device language model, and discarded once the essay is generated. Only the resulting essay text and a compact summary (yesterday's rounded numbers, for display in the history view) are written to local SwiftData storage.

You can revoke any Health category at any time via iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Pink Aura. Revoking access means new essays cannot be generated for the missing categories; existing essays remain readable.

Apple Intelligence (on-device Foundation Models)

The essay is written by Apple's on-device Foundation Models, accessed through the public LanguageModelSession API on iOS 26. This model executes on your iPhone's Neural Engine. Yesterday's Health values are passed to the model in-process and never leave the device. The app does not use Apple's Private Cloud Compute fallback for this feature.

Essay generation requires an Apple Intelligence-capable device: iPhone 15 Pro or newer with iOS 26, or M1+ iPad with iPadOS 26. On unsupported devices, the app still reads and displays your Health summary but the essay step is skipped.

What stays on your device

All of the above lives on your device and never leaves it. Uninstalling the app deletes it.

In-app purchases

Free includes three lifetime essays. Pro unlocks unlimited daily essays, the year letter book PDF export, and the Lock Screen widget. If you choose to subscribe (Monthly, Annual) or buy the Lifetime unlock, that transaction is handled by Apple's StoreKit. Apple processes the payment and shares only the receipt with the app so we can verify your entitlement. We never see your card number, billing address, or any personal information beyond Apple's opaque transaction identifier.

Subscription receipts are stored on-device by iOS and used to validate your entitlement when you re-open the app. They are not sent to any server we operate.

Family Sharing

Pink Aura Pro purchases (Monthly, Annual, Lifetime) are Family-Shareable through Apple's standard Family Sharing mechanism. Apple handles eligibility checks; we do not see who is in your family group. Health data is never shared across family members — each device reads its own owner's Apple Health.

Children

Pink Aura is rated 4+ in the App Store. Because the app collects no data off the device and does not transmit Health data anywhere, it complies with COPPA and similar children's-privacy regulations by design.

Your rights

Because Pink Aura does not collect or transmit data, there is nothing for us to export, correct, or delete on your behalf. To revoke all access and remove all on-device state, delete the app. To revoke specific Health categories, use iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Pink Aura.

Changes

If we ever introduce a feature that involves any data leaving the device (for example, cloud sync), this page will be updated and the “Last updated” date at the top will change. For v1.0, no such feature exists.
