Acceptance

By installing or using the Pink Atlas iOS app (“Pink Atlas”, “the app”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.

Pink Atlas is published by Danielius Studio LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company at 30 N Gould St, Suite #5280, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA (“we”, “us”).

What Pink Atlas is

Pink Atlas is a personal daily-artifact app for iPhone. Once a day, you type a place name. MapKit resolves the place through MKLocalSearchCompleter, and Apple's MKLookAroundSnapshotter renders a single still image of that place's Look Around scene. The still becomes a dated atlas entry you can revisit, plus a printable year wall PDF and a Lock Screen widget when you unlock Pro.

Pink Atlas is not a navigation app, a travel planner, a turn-by-turn map, or a cloud backup. It does not track your location, does not record where you go, and works entirely from place names you type. Atlases are personal artifacts kept locally on your device.

The Look Around snapshotter requires iOS 16 or later. On older versions, the atlas entry cannot be rendered.

The app makes network calls only to Apple's map servers (for MapKit place lookup and Look Around imagery) and to Apple's StoreKit for in-app purchases. See the Privacy Policy for details.

No location permission, no live tracking

Pink Atlas does not request location permission. The app does not know where your device is and does not read GPS, Wi-Fi, or any other location source. Every atlas entry starts with a place name you type yourself.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Pink Atlas on iOS devices you own or control, subject to Apple's standard App Store Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “EULA”) which is incorporated by reference: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Where these Terms and the Apple EULA conflict, the Apple EULA controls.

Free window and subscriptions

When you first install Pink Atlas, every feature is unlocked for three days with no payment and no account. This is a no-strings free window, not a trial signup.

After the three-day window, you may continue using the app for free with up to three atlas entries lifetime, OR accept a one-time gift screen offering two weeks free of the Monthly subscription ($4/month after the two weeks). You may also purchase Annual ($25/year) or Lifetime ($59 one-time) at any time from the Settings screen. Pro unlocks unlimited atlases, the year wall PDF export, and the Lock Screen widget.

All payments are processed through Apple's StoreKit and are subject to Apple's standard subscription terms, including auto-renewal. You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time in the iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions screen.

The Lifetime tier is a one-time non-consumable purchase. It remains active for as long as Apple keeps Pink Atlas available on the App Store under your Apple ID.

Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse engineer, modify, redistribute, or create derivative works of Pink Atlas, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law. The Look Around imagery shown in the app is provided by Apple's MapKit and is subject to Apple's terms; atlas entries are kept locally for your own personal reflection, and the app provides no editing, sharing, or publishing surface.

Not navigation, not travel advice

Pink Atlas is a personal-artifact tool. The still Look Around images saved as atlas entries are for personal reflection, not for navigation, driving directions, or travel planning. The app does not verify whether places you type are safe, open, or accessible, and is not a substitute for a maps or navigation app.

Disclaimers

Pink Atlas is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Danielius Studio LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.

Apple as third-party beneficiary

You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Danielius Studio LLC, not Apple, and that Apple is not responsible for Pink Atlas or its contents. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming, except where Apple's EULA requires otherwise.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of Pink Atlas after a change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
