Pink Atlas
One place a day. On-device. Private.
Pin today's place, jot a one-line note, and let the year fill itself in. Every saved atlas keeps an Apple Maps Look Around still, the place name, and the date. By December, Pink Atlas shows a year-wall grid of every place you marked.
How it works
- Open Pink Atlas once a day. Type a place. Apple Maps surfaces matching completions as you type.
- Pick the place. Pink Atlas fetches the Apple Maps Look Around scene and renders a still snapshot on-device.
- Add an optional one-line note. The date is recorded automatically.
- Pin the Lock Screen widget to glance at your latest atlas.
- Open the year-wall view to see the full grid of places you've pinned.
What stays on your device
- No accounts, no email, no signup.
- No analytics, no third-party SDKs.
- Entries are stored on-device with SwiftData. Nothing leaves your phone.
- The Look Around still snapshot is rendered locally by Apple Maps from the public Look Around scene.
- The only network calls Pink Atlas makes are to Apple Maps for place search and Look Around, and to Apple StoreKit when you choose to subscribe or buy Lifetime.
