Privacy Policy
Short version
Pink Table sends nothing to us. Your restaurant log is stored on your device, and there are no accounts, no analytics and no advertising libraries. Pink Table itself has no servers. Three things reach outside services: the map, whose tiles come from OpenFreeMap with OpenStreetMap data, and which sees your phone's network address and the part of the world the map shows; place search, which your phone's geocoder answers and which receives the words you type; and purchases and the optional rating prompt, which Google Play handles.
Who we are
Pink Table is published by Danielius Studio LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company at 30 N Gould St, Suite #5280, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA (“we”, “us”).
Data we do NOT collect
- No account, no email, no password. The app has no signup.
- No analytics, no telemetry, no event tracking.
- No advertising identifiers (no advertising ID, no fingerprinting).
- No usage data sent to us. There is no server we operate.
- No location permission. Pink Table never asks for your phone's location; you find places by searching.
- No camera, no microphone, no photos, no contacts, no calendar. The only permission the app can ask for is to show notifications, and only when you accept the tips offer.
What stays on your device
- Your visits: the place (its name, address, city, country and map position, as place search returned them), the date, who you went with, the dish name with its food, vibe and value scores, and your note. Stored in a private database on your phone.
- The date the app was first opened (it starts your 3 days with everything unlocked), the days you opened it (so the rating question comes at a good moment) and your Pro status. Stored in the app's own preferences on your phone.
- If you allow notifications, the time of day you usually open the app, so a few tips and reminders arrive at a good moment in your first week. They are scheduled on your device and nothing is sent to us.
All of the above lives on your device. Uninstalling the app deletes it.
Place search and the map
The Map tab draws its map from OpenFreeMap, a free map service run by Hyperknot Software Kft. (openfreemap.org), using OpenStreetMap data. To draw the map, the app downloads map tiles and the files that style them from tiles.openfreemap.org. Like any website that serves you a picture, that service sees your phone's network address and which part of the world the map is showing. It receives no account, no name and none of your log: your places are drawn on the map on your phone. OpenFreeMap handles these requests under its own privacy policy. The map shows its credits (OpenFreeMap, © OpenMapTiles, data from OpenStreetMap) behind the information button in its top right corner. Without a connection the map shows your places on a plain dark background.
When you search for a place, Pink Table sends the words you type to your phone's geocoder, the Android service that turns a name or an address into a spot on the map. On most phones that service is provided by Google Play services, so Google handles the request under its own privacy policy; on a phone without one, place search finds nothing. Place search needs a connection and sends nothing until you type.
Android lets the app use the internet for the map, for place search and for Google Play, and lets it see whether the phone is online. Pink Table never sends your visit log anywhere.
In-app purchases
If you choose to subscribe (Monthly, Annual) or buy the Lifetime unlock, that transaction is handled by Google Play billing. Google Play processes the payment and shares only the purchase status with the app so we can verify your entitlement. We never see your card number, billing address, or any personal information beyond Google's opaque transaction identifier.
Your purchases are recorded by Google Play on your Google account. When you re-open the app it asks Google Play for your purchase status and keeps the answer on your device. That answer is not sent to any server we operate.
Rating prompt
After you have opened the app on a few different days, it may ask whether you would like to rate it, and may ask once more months later. If you say yes, Google Play shows its own rating sheet and handles it under Google's privacy policy.
Widgets
Pink Table ships a Home Screen widget that opens the app so you can log a visit. The widget reads none of your data.
Children
Pink Table is not directed at children. We collect no data from anyone, including children under 13, and the app has no accounts. The only data that leaves the phone goes to the outside services described above.
Your rights
Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to export, correct, or delete on your behalf. To remove all on-device data, delete the app. Requests to OpenFreeMap and to your phone's geocoder are held by those services under their own policies; we cannot see, export or delete them.

Changes
If a feature ever sends data off the device (for example, cloud sync), this page will be updated first and the “Last updated” date at the top will change.
