Pink Verse

How it works

1. Tap the capture button. Pink Verse records six seconds of the sound around you using Apple's AVAudioRecorder.
2. Apple's built-in sound classifier (SNClassifySoundRequest, version 1) names the top three sounds it heard (rain, traffic, footsteps, a kettle).
3. Apple Intelligence (FoundationModels) writes a four-line poem inspired by those sounds. The model runs on your phone.
4. The poem is saved with the sound clip. By year end, your book holds every captured sound paired with its poem.

What Pink Verse is not

• Not a voice memo recorder. Pink Verse keeps six-second ambient clips, not minutes of speech.
• Not a Shazam or song-ID app. It identifies kinds of sounds (rain, traffic, knock), not songs.
• Not a journaling app you type into. The poem is written by Apple Intelligence from what was heard.
• Not a noise-meter or environment-monitoring app.

What stays on your device

• No accounts, no email, no signup.
• No analytics, no third-party SDKs.
• Audio is recorded by AVAudioRecorder and analyzed by Apple's sound classifier locally. Clips never leave the app.
• Poems are written by Apple's on-device language model. Prompt and reply never leave the phone.
• Clips and poems are stored on-device with SwiftData. Nothing is uploaded.
• The only network calls Pink Verse makes are to Apple's StoreKit when you choose to subscribe or buy Lifetime.

Requirements

• iPhone or iPad with iOS 26 or later.
• For the poem step: a device that supports Apple Intelligence (iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16 / 17, iPad with M-series chip). On other devices Pink Verse still records and classifies the sound, and shows a clear notice that the poem step needs Apple Intelligence.
• Microphone permission. Pink Verse asks once, on first capture.

Pricing

Three free sound poems. Pro unlocks unlimited captures, the year-end book, and the Lock Screen widget:

• Pro Monthly: $3/month, with a 14-day free intro on the first subscription.
• Pro Annual: $13/year.
• Pro Lifetime: $29 one-time.

All purchases are handled by Apple and managed under your Apple ID. Pro is Family-Shareable through Apple's standard Family Sharing.

To restore a purchase on a new device, open Pink Verse, tap the settings icon, open the paywall, and tap Restore Purchases. Apple will re-verify your Apple ID's entitlements.

To cancel an auto-renewing subscription, open the Settings app on iPhone, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions, then Pink Verse Pro.
