Pink Vein
Type three numbers. Watch the year.
Pink Vein is a manual blood pressure and pulse log. After a reading, open the app, type the three numbers from your cuff (systolic, diastolic, pulse), add a memo if you want, and save. Over weeks the readings settle into a trend chart. A year of readings becomes the year artifact, a line chart Pro members can keep on their phone forever. Pink Vein does not connect to Apple Health, by design.
How it works
- Open Pink Vein. Tap the + to start a new reading.
- Type the three numbers from your cuff: systolic, diastolic, pulse.
- Add a memo if context matters (after exercise, before coffee, etc.). Optional.
- Tap Save reading. The reading is filed under today's date and time.
- Open the trend chart to see the line of readings across the week, month, and year.
What stays on your device
- No accounts, no email, no signup.
- No analytics, no third-party SDKs.
- No Apple Health integration. Readings are kept inside Pink Vein only. If you also want them in Health, type them there separately.
- Readings are stored on-device with SwiftData. Nothing leaves your phone.
- The only network calls Pink Vein makes are to Apple's StoreKit when you choose to subscribe or buy Lifetime.
What you need
- An iPhone running iOS 18 or later.
- A blood pressure cuff of your own. Pink Vein does not measure, it logs what you read off your cuff.
- That is the only requirement. No microphone, no camera, no Health data, no sensors.
Pricing
Pink Vein lets you log readings for free. The last 7 days stay visible. Pro unlocks full history, the trend chart, and the year artifact:
- Pro Monthly: $3/month, with a 14-day free intro on the first subscription.
- Pro Annual: $13/year.
- Pro Lifetime: $29 one-time.
All purchases are handled by Apple and managed under your Apple ID. Pro is Family-Shareable through Apple's standard Family Sharing.
Pink Vein is a log, not a medical device. The readings you type come from your own cuff. If a number worries you, talk to your doctor.
