Open Pink Sun in the evening. Pink Sun looks up the current weather where you are, you pick a single word for how the day felt, and the entry is filed as a weather-mood tile under today's date. Over the year the tiles fill a calendar, month by month, showing the arc your year actually had. Your tiles stay on your iPhone. No accounts, no cloud.

How it works

Open Pink Sun. Allow location while using the app so it can look up today's weather.
Tap Save today's tile. The current weather appears above a grid of sixteen words.
Pick the one word for how the day felt and tap Save tile. No location? The mood saves on its own.
The entry is filed under today's date with weather glyph plus your word plus temperature.
Open the calendar to see every tile so far. Open any tile to see the days around it and other days with the same weather.

What stays on your device

No accounts, no email, no signup.
No analytics, no third-party SDKs.
Your location is sent to Apple Weather only to look up today's weather, and it is not saved.
Tile entries are stored on your device and never leave your phone.
The only network calls Pink Sun makes are to Apple Weather for conditions and Apple's StoreKit when you choose to subscribe or buy Lifetime.

What you need

An iPhone running iOS 18 or later.
Location set to While Using so Pink Sun can look up today's weather. Without it, tiles save the mood on its own.

Pricing

Everything is unlocked for your first 3 days. After that, Pink Sun is free for up to 3 tiles in total, and deleting one frees a slot. The calendar and the widget are free. Pro unlocks unlimited tiles:

Pro Monthly: $2 / month.
Pro Annual: $13 / year.
Pro Lifetime: $29 one-time.

All purchases are handled by Apple and managed under your Apple ID. Pro is Family-Shareable through Apple's standard Family Sharing.

Pink Sun is a daily journal. The tiles are a record of how your year actually went, not a forecast or a recommendation.

To restore a purchase on a new device, open Pink Sun, open the paywall, and tap Restore Purchases. Apple will re-verify your Apple ID's entitlements.

To cancel an auto-renewing subscription, open the Settings app on iPhone, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions, then Pink Sun Pro.
