Privacy Policy

Short version

Pink Qibla asks for your location so it can compute the five daily prayer times and the great-circle bearing to the Kaaba. That coordinate is used on your device to calculate the times. Each time the app starts, it sends the coordinate to Apple once to look up the place name and its time zone. It is never sent to us: Pink Qibla itself has no servers.

There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party trackers.

What the app accesses

Location (when in use). Your coordinate is read while the app is open, used to calculate solar position and the qibla bearing, and held only in memory for the current session. Once per launch it is sent to Apple's place-name lookup, which returns the name and time zone of where you are; offline, the app uses your iPhone's time zone instead. It is never sent to us, never saved by the app, and never shared with anyone else.

What is stored on your device

Your chosen calculation method and Asr school, the date you installed the app, whether you have seen the intro, and whether Pro is active, saved in the app's own preferences. Nothing else.

What we collect

Nothing. No personal data, no usage data, no diagnostics, no crash reporting, no device identifiers.

Purchases

Subscriptions and the lifetime unlock are processed by Apple through StoreKit, which is the only other connection the app makes. We never see your payment details. Apple provides only an anonymous receipt confirming entitlement.

Children

The app collects no data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above changes with it.
