Terms of Use

Acceptance

By installing or using the Pink Plume iOS app (“Pink Plume”, “the app”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.

Pink Plume is published by Danielius Studio LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company at 30 N Gould St, Suite #5280, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA (“we”, “us”).

What Pink Plume is

Pink Plume is a personal saliency-archive app for iPhone. You pick a photo from your Photos library, and Pink Plume uses Apple's on-device Vision framework (VNGenerateAttentionBasedSaliencyImageRequest) to generate an attention heatmap showing where a viewer is likely to look in the image. The source photo, the colored heatmap, and the composite overlay are saved as today's entry and join a year wall when you unlock Pro.

Pink Plume is not a photo editor, an image recognizer, a cloud backup, or a substitute for your Photos library. It does not modify, delete, or write back to the original photos that live in your library, and it does not identify people, objects, or faces. Entries are personal artifacts kept locally on your device.

Pink Plume requires iOS 26 or later on a supported iPhone. On older versions of iOS the app is unavailable.

The app makes no network calls except to Apple's StoreKit for in-app purchases. The Vision framework runs entirely on-device. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Photos permission and what we do with it

Pink Plume reads only the single photo you explicitly pick through Apple's system picker (PhotosPicker). The app does not scan your broader Photos library, does not capture new photos with the camera, and does not analyze the contents of the image beyond running the Vision attention saliency request used to render the heatmap. The Vision request produces a low-resolution attention map only; it does not identify subjects or generate descriptions.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Pink Plume on iOS devices you own or control, subject to Apple's standard App Store Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “EULA”) which is incorporated by reference: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Where these Terms and the Apple EULA conflict, the Apple EULA controls.

Free window and subscriptions

When you first install Pink Plume, every feature is unlocked for three days with no payment and no account. This is a no-strings free window, not a trial signup.

After the three-day window, you may continue using the app for free with up to three plume entries lifetime, OR accept a one-time gift screen offering two weeks free of the Monthly subscription ($4/month after the two weeks). You may also purchase Annual ($25/year) or Lifetime ($59 one-time) at any time from the Settings screen. Pro unlocks unlimited plume entries and the year wall.

All payments are processed through Apple's StoreKit and are subject to Apple's standard subscription terms, including auto-renewal. You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time in the iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions screen.

The Lifetime tier is a one-time non-consumable purchase. It remains active for as long as Apple keeps Pink Plume available on the App Store under your Apple ID.

Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse engineer, modify, redistribute, or create derivative works of Pink Plume, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law. You are responsible for the photos you pick and for ensuring you have the right to use them; the app provides no publishing surface, and saliency visualizations are kept locally for your own personal reflection.

Not therapy, not medical advice

Pink Plume is a personal-artifact and visualization tool. The attention heatmaps it generates are a low-resolution prediction of where a viewer is likely to look in an image, and are not eye-tracking measurements, diagnosis, or medical advice. The app does not measure your gaze or attention and does not claim to identify any health condition.

Disclaimers

Pink Plume is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Danielius Studio LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.

Apple as third-party beneficiary

You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Danielius Studio LLC, not Apple, and that Apple is not responsible for Pink Plume or its contents. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming, except where Apple's EULA requires otherwise.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of Pink Plume after a change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
