Pink Isolate

Play along. Loop it. Slow it. On-device.

Pink Isolate is a practice tool for musicians. Bring in a song you are learning, mute the part you play, and work through it with the rest of the band behind you: loop the two bars that keep beating you, drop to 75% without moving the pitch, shift the key when the recording sits outside your range, and watch the minutes add up per song. The separation that sets all of this up runs on your iPhone in about half a minute, and nothing is uploaded, ever.

What a practice session looks like

Mute your instrument to play its part, or solo it to hear exactly what it does.
Set A and B around the bars you keep missing. They repeat until you stop.
Drop to 75% or 50%. The pitch does not move, so what you learn stays in the right key.
Shift the whole track up or down six semitones when the recording sits outside your range.
Every minute you spend playing is counted against that song.
A quick-practice widget on the Home Screen and Lock Screen drops you straight back into the last song.

Setting a song up

Import any audio file you own. It is separated into vocals, drums, bass and other in about half a minute, offline, on the device. That happens once per song; after that you are on the practice screen. Songs protected by DRM, such as Apple Music downloads, cannot be imported.

What stays on your device

No accounts, no email, no signup.
No analytics, no third-party SDKs, no ad networks.
The separation model is built into the app. Your songs and stems never leave your iPhone - there is no upload and no server.
The only network call is Apple's StoreKit when you choose to subscribe.

Pricing

Three days of full access on install. After that, your 2 most recent songs stay open with every practice tool. Pro opens your whole library: Pro Monthly ($4 / month), Pro Annual ($25 / year), or a one-time Lifetime unlock ($59). All purchases are handled by Apple and managed under your Apple ID.

To restore a purchase on a new device, open Pink Isolate, tap the settings icon, open the paywall, and tap Restore Purchases. Apple will re-verify your Apple ID's entitlements.

To cancel an auto-renewing subscription, open the Settings app on iPhone, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions, then Pink Isolate Pro.
