Pink Inkling
Daily handwriting. On-device AI. Private.
Open Pink Inkling, get a one-line writing prompt generated by Apple's on-device Foundation Models, and write by hand on a full-screen canvas with Apple Pencil or your finger. When you finish, the app composes a time-lapse video of your writing that you can replay anytime. Over weeks and months your entries fill a year book you can browse.
What you can do in v1.0
- Get a fresh daily prompt generated on-device by Apple Intelligence. No prompt ever leaves your device.
- Write by hand on a full-screen PencilKit canvas. Apple Pencil for the best feel, finger drawing supported as a fallback.
- Watch a time-lapse replay of your handwriting session, composed at 10 fps as an MP4 you can save and share.
- Browse your year book: a chronologically ordered wall of every entry you have written.
- Pin a Lock Screen widget that shows your latest entry's date and prompt.
- Three entries free for life. Unlock Pro for unlimited entries and the full year book.
What stays on your device
- No accounts, no email, no sign-up.
- No analytics, no third-party SDKs, no ad networks.
- All prompts and handwriting data stay in on-device SwiftData.
- Foundation Models runs entirely on-device. No text is sent to a server.
- The only network call is to Apple's StoreKit when you choose to subscribe or restore a purchase.
What Pink Inkling is not
- Not a cloud-synced journal. Everything is local.
- Not a note-taking app with handwriting. The daily prompt + time-lapse + year book cycle is the whole shape.
- Not a drawing or sketching tool. The canvas is for handwriting, not art.
Pricing
Three entries free for life. After that you can unlock Pro: Monthly at $3/month with a 14-day free intro, Annual at $13/year, or a one-time Lifetime unlock at $29. All purchases are handled by Apple and managed under your Apple ID.

To restore a purchase on a new device, open Pink Inkling, tap the settings icon, open the paywall, and tap Restore Purchases. Apple will re-verify your Apple ID's entitlements.
To cancel an auto-renewing subscription, open the Settings app on iPhone or iPad, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions, then Pink Inkling Pro.
