Pink Cue
A soft pre-warning before each transition. On-device.
Open Pink Cue, set a transition for when you need to stop what you are doing, and the app gives you a soft 30 to 90 second runway before the deadline lands. A subtle haptic ramp during the final minute lets your body feel the switch coming so the change does not yank you out of focus.
How it works
- Tap the plus button on the Home screen.
- Name the transition and pick the time it should fire.
- Choose how much warning you want before it fires (15, 30, 60, 120, or 300 seconds).
- Pink Cue counts down on the Home screen and in the Lock Screen widget. During the final pre-alert window, a soft haptic ramps in.
- When the transition fires, a local notification lands. No background services. No servers.
What makes it different
Most timers go from silent to loud at the deadline. Pink Cue gives you a soft body-felt warning during the last 15 to 300 seconds so the change is something you arrive at, not something that hits you. The whole app is one screen, one purpose, one transition at a time on the Free tier.
What runs on-device
- No accounts, no email, no signup.
- Local notifications only. No push servers, no background services.
- Your transitions are stored on your iPhone in SwiftData.
- The only network call the app makes is to Apple's StoreKit when you choose to subscribe or unlock Lifetime.
Requirements
Pink Cue needs iOS 18 or later. Notifications permission is asked once so the transition alarm can land at the time you set; nothing else is required.
