Pink Compass

Read the horizon in today's photo. On-device. Private.

Pick a photo with a visible horizon. Apple Vision detects the horizon angle on-device. Pink Compass renders the photo with a horizon line overlay and the tilt in degrees, then saves it to your year wall. Twelve months later, you have 365 horizons in one place.

How it works

  1. Tap "Today's horizon" on the home screen.
  2. Pick a photo from your library that shows a horizon - sea, mountains, rooftops, anything with a defining line.
  3. Apple Vision analyses the photo on-device and finds the dominant horizon. The detected angle appears in degrees, with the direction (clockwise or counter-clockwise).
  4. The photo renders with a thin horizon overlay drawn at the detected angle. Add an optional note.
  5. Save. The entry joins your year wall - a 3-column grid of every horizon you've logged.
  6. Tap any saved entry to see it full-screen with the overlay, the angle label, the date, and your note.

The year wall

Open the grid icon from the home screen. Every saved horizon fills a tile. Each tile shows the photo and the detected tilt (e.g. 2.3°). The wall fills as the year passes - one tile per saved entry, ordered most recent first.

What stays on your device

Free and Pro

The first three horizons are free, forever. After that, Pro unlocks unlimited horizons, the year wall, and the home screen widget.
