Privacy Policy

Pink Coin tracks your spending without ever connecting to your bank. You add accounts you already have, scan a receipt with the camera, or pick a transaction photo from your Photos library. The Vision framework reads the amount on your device and the transaction saves locally. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no third-party SDKs that contact a server we operate. The only network calls the app makes are to Apple's StoreKit for in-app purchases.

• Accounts you create (name, type, base currency, opening balance).
• Transactions you log manually or scan from receipts.
• Receipt images you scan, if you choose to attach them.
• Categories and notes you write.

All of the above persist in a private SwiftData store inside the app's sandbox on your device. They are NOT uploaded to us or any third party. iCloud sync is opt-in per Apple's standard iCloud privacy model (you control it from iOS Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Pink Coin).

• Receipt OCR. When you scan a receipt, the Apple Vision framework reads the text on your device. The image never leaves your phone for OCR.
• Category suggestions. When Foundation Models is available on your device (Apple Intelligence-eligible iPhones running iOS 26+), Pink Coin can suggest a category for a transaction. The prompt and response run on-device.
• Camera access. Only when you tap Scan > Use Camera. Pink Coin never opens the camera passively.
• Photos access. Only when you tap Scan > Pick from Photos. You select which image to share.

• No bank linking. Pink Coin does NOT use Plaid, MX, Finicity, Yodlee, or any aggregator. Your bank credentials are never entered into Pink Coin.
• No accounts. No sign-up. No email. No password.
• No analytics. No third-party SDKs for metrics, attribution, crash reporting, or A/B testing.
• No ads. Ever.
• No telemetry. Pink Coin does not phone home.

Pink Coin offers a 14-day free trial of the monthly subscription and three purchase options (monthly / annual / lifetime) handled entirely by Apple StoreKit. Apple processes payment; we receive subscription status from Apple to unlock features inside the app. Apple's privacy policy applies to StoreKit transactions.

Pink Coin supports Family Sharing for all in-app purchases. Your family members' transactions and accounts remain on each person's own device — Pink Coin does not share ledger data across family members.

We will update the “last updated” date at the top of this page if we change anything material. We will not retroactively reduce your privacy. If we ever did anything that would, we'd say so plainly at the top of this page first.
