Privacy Policy
Short version
Pink Aleph is a vocabulary drill for biblical Hebrew. Everything runs on your device. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising SDKs, no third-party trackers, and no networking code.
What is stored on your device
Your review schedule (which words you have seen, how well you knew them, and when each is next due), saved in the app's own preferences. Your chosen frequency band. The date you first opened the app, which times your first 3 days with everything unlocked, whether you have seen the intro, and whether you have Pro. Nothing else.
What we collect
Nothing. No personal data, no usage data, no diagnostics, no crash reporting, no device identifiers. Your progress never leaves your phone, which also means it is not backed up by us and is lost if you delete the app.
Purchases
Subscriptions and the lifetime unlock are processed by Apple. We never see your payment details. Apple provides only an anonymous receipt confirming entitlement.
Text and data sources
The Hebrew text is the Westminster Leningrad Codex, in the public domain. Morphology and lemma data are the Open Scriptures Hebrew Bible, licensed CC BY 4.0. Definitions come from Strong's Hebrew Dictionary (1890, public domain) as encoded by the Open Scriptures Hebrew Lexicon, licensed CC BY 4.0. Attribution appears in the app under Settings.
Children
The app collects no data from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above changes with it.
